Alternative tours – “Arcadia Dream” (Peloponnese)

N1: BIKE TOUR – Arrival in Athens by plane

1st day: Arrival at the Athenian airport, transfer to the hotel Archontiko Kalteziotis in central Peloponnese (area Arcadia). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

2nd day: Bike tour organized in collaboration with a local agency, on trails Mainalon A2 / Roychoi trail. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

* Optional: visit and wine tasting at the “Kalogris” winery.

3rd day: Bike tour organized in collaboration with a local agency, on Mont Parnon or along the trail Mainalon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

* Optional: visit to the Kapsia cave.

4th day: Visit to the archaeological site of Mycenae and the Theatre of Epidaurus. Alternatively, visit the archaeological site of Nemea and extension for visit and wine tasting at the traditional winery “Semelli”. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

5th day: Transfer to the Athens airport for the departure.

* Possible extension of the trip with one additional day in order to visit the locations of Mystras and Gythion. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

N2: BIKE TOUR – Arrival to Patras via ship

1st day: Arrival at Patra, transfer to Olympia, dinner, and overnight.

2nd day: Visit of the archaeological site and museum of Olympia, visit of Vasses. Arrival at the area of Arcadia, central Peloponnese, dinner, and overnight at the Archondiko Kalteziotis hotel.

3rd day: Programmed bike tour (itinerary 1 can be copied).

4th day: Programmed bike tour (itinerary 1 can be copied).

5th day: Visit of Nauplio, Corinth canal and transfer to the port of Patra for embarkation.

* Possible extension of the trip with one additional day. Excursions can be proposed.

N3: TREKKING TOUR – Arrival at Patra via ship

1st day: Arrival at Patra and transfer to the hotel Semantron. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

2nd day: Trekking activity at Mount Helmos in the area of Kalvrita – Mega Spyleon. Transfer to the Archontiko Kalteziotis hotel, the area of Arcadia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. * Alternatively it is possible to propose an itinerary including the local traditional train.

3rd day: Trekking activity at Mount Mainalon, the area of Dimitsana – Gorge of Lousios and museum of Idrokinetica. Alternatively we could visit the monastery of Filosofou – ancient Gortys. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4th day: Visit of the cave of Kapsia – the location of Vesses and the temple. Transfer to Olympia, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

5th day: Visit the archaeological site and museum, transfer to Patra for the embarkation.
