The first stop of this trip will be the beautiful palm tree forest of Vai  (with 5.000 palm-trees), that in a strange way nature has dropped by the seaside of the crystal clear waters of the Cretan Sea. You can swim and sunbathe on the sandy beach. We continue to the monastery of Toplou  and then to Sitia. Once destroyed by the wild pirate Barbarossa, Sitia today still keeps part of its character with the walls of the old fort still standing there. From there, we depart in order to drive towards Southern Crete and reach Ierapetra . About 1 hour away, Ierapetra is a beautiful town with a history of over 2500 years.

Free time for a greek coffee (hellinikos) at the harbour and then back to the hotel.
